One question about fork.c in Mintlib and Gnulib PL. 30 and PL 88:

Would it be a good idea to include the fork work around in the Gnulib also
in the Mintlib in the case there is no Mint installed.
For now, Mintlib tries to call the Mint System call Pfork or exits
immediately.
This change would make some shells happy.
