Hello out there!

I found yesterday two annoying problems with the new release:
- under Multitos (the version of last summer) input into dialogs is very
  slow. In fact, the characters get reportet on the screen after moving
  the mouse!!!
- with debugging output on, still normal keys stop the output (I realized
  that with the space bar)
