As for 'my' GCC, I myself am on a mac, using Symantec's Think C environment,
but that doesn't change the fact that a supported GCC (and other Gnu Utils)
would be a Good Thing for the mac community.  For mac to still be singled
out for practices they have stopped, while other companies do far worse
daily (a certain corporation starting with 'M' comes to mind), is unfair
and hypocritical.
