Background jobs writing on terminal

Michael,

In the h6 patch's README you say:

>Known bugs:
>
>o background jobs write to the terminal instead of being stopped

I haven't been able to produce this behavior on my system. Does it
occur with any program being run in the background, or just some?

[51]root@seki::~ # stty tostop
[52]root@seki::~ # /bin/echo hello &
[1] 738

[1]+ Stopped (tty output) /bin/echo hello
[53]root@seki::~ # fg
/bin/echo hello
hello
[54]root@seki::~ # stty -tostop
[55]root@seki::~ # /bin/echo hello &
hello
[1] 740
[1]   Done                    /bin/echo hello
[56]root@seki::~ #
