Re: Patches for MiNT 1.10
Hello, I'm new here, but I've been playing with MiNT since v0.6.
At the moment I'm trying to compile a version of MiNT 1.10 which has all
the up to date patches. I've found the following files on umich
MPatches:
-r--r--r-- root root 26137 Jun 3 00:41 mint-1.10-1.10h1-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 48479 Jul 11 23:54 mint-1.10-1.10h6-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 3695 Jul 11 19:42 mint-1.10h1-1.10h2-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 1810 Jul 11 19:43 mint-1.10h2-1.10h3-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 9060 Jul 11 19:44 mint-1.10h3-1.10h4-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 8208 Jul 11 19:45 mint-1.10h4-1.10h5-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 9853 Jul 11 23:46 mint-1.10h5-1.10h6-diffs.gz
-r--r--r-- root root 19667 Jul 11 23:49 mint-1.10h6-README.1ST
- but I'm not entirely sure which if any of these patches is what I'm
after. I also keep seeing references to:
mint110-h[123]-diffs.gz
but have never found a file of this name to ftp from anywhere.
I'm trying to keep my MiNT in line to use the new MiNT-Net stuff that is
appearing.
In the directory listing above, you really only need the file
mint-1.10-1.10h6-diffs.gz
This is the complete set of patches to go
from mint-1.10 to 1.10h6
All of the other files there represent the incremental changes from
one patch set to the next. While we have to suffer and wait for each new
bug fix to appear, and thus patch things a step at a time, you don't need
to. Just get a complete 1.10 source archive, and then go straight to h6 in
one fell swoop. Of course, we're not done yet, so there will be more
incremental patches beyond #6, so at that point you get to play the catch
up game with everyone else...
