To test the X programs you need a machine with a running X-server (At time
there is no server available for MiNT/GEM). You connect to the server
with the TCP/IP protocol (IP == Internet Protocol). SLIP means "Serial Line
Internet Protocol" and you need it to connect with TCP/IP over the
serial line (Or PPP=Point to Point Protocol, or PLIP=Parallel Line Internet
Protocol).
