68000 based MiNTs on 68030s

Is it safe to run standard MiNT (68000) on a machine with a 68030? The
reason I'm asking is that I'm likely to get a 68030 machine very shortly,
and want to know if I need to start compiling a 68030 MiNT in preparation.
