cnews and scripts

Hi folks !

Seems that a lot of people already ported cnews to MiNT.
I tried it myself during the last two days and have a more or
less working installation now.
But what about all those f... Shell-scripts ?! A question to all of
you, who also ported the stuff. What's to be done ?
Do i really have to "rewrite" all the scripts in C ?
