VM

I would like to join the list of people wanting VM for '030s. I would
also be interested in the process swapping for 68000, since I have a
Falcon030 and an old (but heavily upgraded) STFM.

I realise that the process swapping would be slow (particularly for
larger applications), but would surely still be faster than quitting-
loading-quitting etc. The reason that I make this point is that I
often need to do something in one package, then cut it to the
clipboard to put into something else (typically this is Kandinsky,
Gemview and Works, under MultiTOS). With Speedo5, and over 500 fonts,
though, my STFM gets a bit short on memory, so I have to keep on
quitting and reloading applications - which I might as well do under
single TOS! Disk space is far less of a problem though (MO drive).

I would also agree that regardless of the outcome for process
swapping, we _need_ VM for '030 machines. Does anyone know if any of
the commercial VM systems (Outside, etc.) work with MiNT? Even if
they do, I would rather see an integrated solution, if only because I
think it is more likely to support MiNT's extra features, and likely
to be reviewed and upgraded more often.

Cheers,
