Do you have an Internal IDE, Christer???
Linux has serious problems when using IDE and SCSI at once... I couldn't
even get it to run without the SCSI detached. I have heard some people
claiming that they use both without problems, but I've never seen it work
in reality. I have seen the original binary work on a machine running
SCSI alone, without the internal IDE.
My own version is compiled for use with SCSI only, and can't access the
IDE whatsoever.
