Re: Why bother?

Hi,

Well, I study computer science and sometimes write small programs.
I recently programmed a SLR parser (in Common Lisp) and used
bison to test my understanding of the grammar.

So I needed a tool like bison and it is more easily ported to
my ATARI with a MinixFS than without.

All my programs are under Revision Control, so I need a port of
yet another tool (POYAT).

To clarify my understanding of an alien C program I use indent,
so POYAT.

I use CLisp on the ATARI and Emacs to edit Lisp files, this is
more easily done on a MinixFS than on a TOS FS. And it is more
comforatble to have two windows, one with Emacs and another with
CLisp, so I don`t have to quit and re-launch the programs steadily.
It would be *very* time consuming ;-).

This *is* my real world application.

BTW, I use TeX and my word processors in Single-Task mode.
