Colored vcons on VGA screen

Hi!

I would like to be able to have colors in vconsoles on my VGA
screen (connected to my Falcon...). As i have understood, this cannot be
done with the current version (0.8) ?

So i suppose i'll have to fix it... But i have very little experience in 
using these hardware video registers (is there any reason why the xbios
(Vsetmode) isn't used? speed?). I do have a listing of them, but i don't 
know exactly what needs to be changed. 

I would be very happy if someone who knows about this stuff could give me
any information...
