How to improve compatibility ST->TT

There is a program (it's Avalon 2.0 from Steinberg Germany) that used to
run on the ST on ST-High resolution. I am trying since I migrated to TT (it
was so much time ago...) to run this program on it, but I might have one of
two results:
        1) if I use the TT-Medium resolution, the program simply does not load.
        2) if I go to ST-High resolution, it goes up to the starting
screen, then as soon as I move the mouse the TT loose the control of the
screen (it goes out of sync).

I have recently downloaded the Free-MiNT 1.12.4, it loads correctly, boots
my GEM (the one in ROM), but as regards the problem mentioned, it does not
make any difference.
