Did anyone succeed in compiling gcc-2.7.2 for MiNT?

I´ve tried it with the 2.6.x patches from A.Schwab, but it always fails 
in libgcc2, functions fixuns*di*.

Reason seems to be the statement "v <<= WORD_SIZE", but i couldn´t trace 
it down more fare (v is of type UDItype).

Any hints?
