RE: a time for MiNTlibs pl47?

hm I would tend to agree with conrad here a little bit.
Magic rocks they say(magic users), Mint sucks.
Mint is old, unfriendly and slow they say, no interest to develop for
this dead system, Magic is the future. (users speaking)
Now, if teh mintlib could be fully compatible with magic and if it
doesn't cause any problem or hassle to do so, Off course :) make it
compatible!!!. That would be great.
Now, about andreas point of view, he probably tried to add the max he
can to magic, But STILL, his point is not automatically the result of
magic, (for instance VFAT f.system), I am not really sure he wanted
this file_system for magic, But commercialy speaking it was a good
move.

Now, if someone could tell me WHY the HELL magic doesn't support
SHELL_WRITE like it should? or the OB_flags(aes flags). This already
is not really to mean: , "I want to be mint friendly."
Or another example, why does NVDI now needs WDIALOG to work? as
necessity!, or gemsing(cab_audio module). gemsing doesn't even use it!
Well, julian, I know you are a hell of a good programer, and swing
between your mac, magicmac and mint. No prob for you. But so many
magic users don't have this mentality. and that creates
imcompatibility. Magic so far is sharing teh atari market, loosing any
standard, but getting more users because of magicmac and magicpc.
My best wishi so far would be to have MAGIC.AES for mint.
That would rock.
Bye.. (just few thought like that )
and again, if it's easy to do the magic compatibility, DO IT! :)
