GlueSTiK 0.02b5 bug report #2
Seems the log below confirms part of the problems I'm having
with IRC concern GlueSTiK *not* copying the dynamic IP found
by MiNTnet at login into STiK's CIB structure:
pid 6 (ATARIRC): ERROR: In CNbyte_count(19456{19456}): fcntl() returns 37 ("invalid handle")
pid 6 (ATARIRC): ERROR: CNbyte_count(19456{19456}) returns error code -1037
pid 6 (ATARIRC): ERROR: In TCP_open(0.0.0.0, 113, 0, 512): bind() returns 310 ("")
pid 6 (ATARIRC): ERROR: TCP_open(0.0.0.0, 113, 0, 512) returns error code -9
As you can see, AtarIRC tries to open a socket for IDENT,
which does not work, because the IP still reads 0.0.0.0
instead of whatever I was assigned by my ISP at login.
The same error happens when trying to initiate a DCC SEND
as well. Both are caused by the client NOT finding a real
IP in the CIB stack as expected.
