Incidentally, I never mentioned multi-user a la UNIX myself.
I have discussed and requested IP masquerading capabilities.
Big difference.

Notice that STiNG's interface for ICMP and UDP was adopted by
Dan and Martin for STiK 2.0 verbatim. STiNG's Transport.H can
therefore be considered as a STiK 1.13+ binding. I'll use that.
