I don't understand how it is too slow on the 25Mhz Stacy, since I
installed MiNTOS and all the rest on my 16MHz Mega STE (similar setup to
what I haveon the TT) and it seemed to work at a fine speed. Not extra
fast (the Mega STE isn't extra-fast anyway), but certainly the computer
was entirely usable in the normal way without much noticable difference in
speed.

Are you sure you haven't configured something wrong somewhere?
