Uhhh... so you would like to open files and work on them with your
editor, for example, just as you do with NFS. But instead using the FTP
protocol?
I don't think this is usable, or even possible... Although ANYTHING is
possible :D
isn't their simmilar solutions available already? I'm sure I tested
something like this some years ago, where you could just 'cd' to your
favourite FTP (But it was not using the FTP-Protocol ;( ) site, and copy
files back and forth... (No it wasn't NFS :D) I think it was called ATP
or something, but I'm not really sure here...
