HS-modem substitute

Just wanted to mention what I feel would be a good starting point,
to create a replacement for HS-Modem:

   1) Thierry Bousch's Modem Devices
      already contains generic serial routines and MFP drivers,
      which mean only SCC drivers need to be writen from scratch.
   
   2) NetBSD/Atari sources
      haven't examined them yet, but I'm prety sure they have
      chip-specific drivers that cover everything, since NetBSD
      is maintained by TT users.
      
The only 3 remaining aspect we can't cover by the above stuff:

   1) modified MFP (ie: RSVE)
   
   2) modified SCC (ie: 14 MHz PCLK and/or ESCC replacement)
   
   3) ST ESCC addition
   
For those, I don't think we have much choice but to try to convince
Harun Scheutzow to either release his sources, or at least suitable
infos that would allow someone to reproduce his work independantly.
