Of course. There is a system called Fenix that I'm working on
that is exactly that.

Fenix has most of the features that you crave for. And it is
extensible so that you can get everything you want, however
perhaps not from start.

Before I get a lot of question regarding when Fenix is released,
I want to say that it is working on my TT/Falcon/ST BUT it is not
stable enough to be released to ANYONE except me for the moment.

I assure you that I will release a system when it is stable enough
not to trash your harddrives etc while still being a full UNiX kernel.

I don't see much point in releasing a system that is in the state 
Fenix is right now.
