Not correct. Resources designed under MTOS/N.AES/Geneva/oAESis will also
look fine under plain TOS, as long as you don't use colour-icons.

Usually not. The usable area of the object decreases, so there's a pretty
good chance that some objects will not be properly rendered if you do
this.
