My status as MiNTlib maintainer

Hello gang,

I will be extremely busy for the next several months, with
various work issues requiring much of my time even outside
regular work hours. This will severely undermine my ability to
spend time on the MiNTlib except in short spurts.  

If someone wanted to take over the maintainer duties, it would
probably be best for the lib and the users.  If no-one can take
the job, there is still something that needs to be done, even if
the person who did it were not the official "maintainer":  there
is some material that was contributed by Guido a few weeks ago,
which would require a little more work before it can be merged
into the lib.  This stuff really should get done, because it
makes important library functions compliant with the new MiNT
kernel.  Do I have a volunteer?
