mfsconf

Hi, If I make a change in mfsconf It will disapear if I reboot. So I
guess I need to make a definitive change in a script at bootup. Any
prefered place to do so?
Also, can somebody explain a little bit better than then mfsdoc what
mint, tos only, both etc settings affect exactly? It never bothered me
so far. Now I have to change it to MiNT, because if I drag and drop
some file (casing mixed) in a minix partition, th casing would
disappear if minix set to TOS only type. 
Any complementary info would be appreciated.
