Greetings everyone!

I have found a manufacturer willing to produce us a batch of VME Ethernet
cards that use the Lance technology (same as Riebl and Pamsnet) which they
used to manufacture, but discontinued a while back.  

However, they need a quantity purchase, before they can offer them at an
affodable price.  If I can collect about 100 purchase orders, then they
should be available for _very_ cheap.

Since we already have Lance drivers for MiNTnet and STinG, it would be
easily implemented on a MEGA-STE and TT.... but we first have to gather
enough orders, before they can justify another production run.

Please forward this message to MausNet and any other Atari newsgroups
where it would be suitable.

Once I have collected enough purchase commitments, I'll post another
message here to let people know what prices I've been quoted and how
I expect to distribute the cards.

J'ai trouvé une compagnie qui accepterait de produire une autre série
de cartes Ethernet VME basée sur la technologie Lance (la même que sur
les Riebl et les Pamsnet).  C'est un modèle qu'ils ont cessé de produire
il y a quelques années.

Essentiellement, ils sont disposés à produire à nouveau, mais seulement
si je réussis à amasser suffisament de promesses d'achats pour justifier
une nouvelle production et un prix de grossiste.

Nous avons déjà des drivers Lance sur MiNTnet et STinG, ce qui permet
l'utilisation sur MEGA-STE ou TT avec un minimum d'ajustements.. mais
nous devons d'abord constituer une commande suffisament alléchante, si
nous voulons convaincre le manufacturier de produire à nouveau.

Veuillez faire parevenir copie de ce message sur MausNet ou tout autre
newsgroup Atari suceptible de trouver preneur.

Lorsque j'aurai amassé suffisament de commandes et aurai obtenu une
estimation plus précise du prix de revient, je vous en informerai ici.
