[MiNT] HARD-DISK DYING

Hello everyone,

unless I am mistaken, my TT's hard-disk is dying.  After a couple
of hours of usage, any time I access it, it spins up and down, or
even comes down to a full silent stop, then reboots seconds later.

Has anyone ever encountered this?  Have my worst fears materialized?
Please help.  Thanks.

PS:  needless to say, if my hard-disk is kaput, NMD dies too...
     It already took me almost 3 hours to backup my HOME directory
     (only about 20 MB) just to save important documents, so....
