Actually, it's now becoming evident that _all_ libs (GEM, MiNT, socket)
have been broken recently.  

I have already noticed that MiNTlib since PL-47 produces _HUGE_ binaries
that sometimes fail to work, while the same source compiled with PL-46
work just fine.  Två examples I remember is nfs.xfs 0.54 and INIT.
