As you chose to post this to the list, I'll take it up on the list.

Is this post relevant to the list in any way? Were the previous ones in
the (private) thread? Did I say that you should forward my (apparently
private) mail to the list in the first place? If I advise you privately
on the use of the list, do you have to take it up on the list? Are you
just making a nuisance of yourself?

Why are you posting to the old list address at umich.edu, the
mail will just get delivered to <mint@fishpool.com>, although somewhat
slower. (I've been meaning to take this up on the list anyway, people
are posting to the old list-address, which will only slow down
distributing the mail)
