As adviced I now use 'shutdown' for the MiNT stuff and indeed the 
Minix partitions stays OK.

But it all started with the wish to have my new Linux partition also 
available.That also works now. But....

a 'shutdown' under MiNT result in complaints when booting the Linux. 
Same kind of problem I had with the Minix partition. The partition is 
not closed the last time it was in use as it should be according to 
Linux ext2-rules it seems.


Shouls I go to a Linux 68k newsgroup to get more info about this 
aspect of Atari behaviour?
