[MiNT] high-quality random generator?!!

When installing the new MiNT-Net (which I finally had to download 
from a friend's place), I noticed a rather lenghty peculiar bit of
bootup message I have never seen before:

"High-quality random number generator courtesy of ...."

Where does this come from?!  I looked in the sockdev.xdd sources
but could not find anything about it, nor in the CHANGES file.
