I used to run CAB from mutt (shouldn't be that much different
from pine in that regard). You need a shell wrapper and that's
it.
Install the urlview package from Sparemint and you already have
a base for that shell wrapper.
One problem is that bash of course doesn't know about the VA
protocol. But Ulrich Kaiser once send me a tiny little program
called "x" which came somewhere from Scandinavia. This "x"
launched GEM applications using the VA protocol if possible,
very handy.
If somebody has the sources to "x" and the author gives us
permission I could integrate it into the mint-util package
on Sparemint.
