  Okay, I tried passive in my /ect/ppp/options file (it was blank until
  then) but it made no difference. I still get the same 2 lines... Oh well,
  it doesn't seem to affect anything.
  
  Hmm btw, in resolv.conf...is it okay to put 2 nameservers there? I had
  not done so before, but this ISP gave me 2 (1 alternate). It looks like:
