Likewise, I suggest you explicitely declare the character-set,
in <HEAD>, possibly before the <TITLE>:
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-15">
...or iso-8859-1, if that's what you prefer.
