If this is a reality I could then find a use for my old Pentium 100 in the
basement then.  I would use the Ax86 software to boot/multi boot directly
into MINT for that stated reasons on the Web Site, cheaper hardware, speed,
and availablity of hardware.

I personally see both sides of the fence on this issue.  Right now the TOS
platform is a step behind the rest of the world software and hardware wise
to some extend but for most people their Atari Computer does the job just
fine.  Also 68K hardware would be more compatible though I've yet to see
this on my Milan 040 so far.
