[MiNT] Problems with Mintkernel v1.15.10

Hello!

I have found two problems in the new kernel:

"free" does not work and some other programs who checking free ram fails
too as memwatch.acc


I have this row in /etc/ttytab ... 
ttyv9    "/usr/bin/tail -fn 0 /var/log/ppp-log" stv52 on secure
   
I've got the message: /usr/bin/tail: 0: No such file or directory
                      ==> /var/log/ppp-log <==
It's showing the tail in vcons but its showing "old" rows too.
   
This have worked in every tested kernel but not in 1.15.10 and I am
running on a CT2-Falcon.
