[MiNT] Two questions

I'm using MiNT 1.15.11b on an Atari TT.

Two questions.

1. How can I turn off the keyclick when using Bash ?
   I've tried stty -imaxbel, but stty aborts with unknown command.

2. I've got a PPP connection to my PC at 38400 baud on Serial 2 on the TT.
How can I get 230400 baud or 115200 baud, as using stty doesn't allow
the baud rate, and pppd never establishes the connection with the PC at
this rate.
