[MiNT] cvs login problem

Hi,

today i have tried for several hours to change my setup for the new 
cvs location as suggested in previous mails and the sparemint cvs 
page, without success. I have run the shell commands for changing 
all the CVS/Root files. I have removed old ~/.cvspass and created a 
new one.

Also, I have

   CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@sparemint.atariforge.net:/mint
   export CVSROOT

in my ~/.bash_profile.

Now after a "cvs login" when I get the password prompt, I type 
"cvsanon" then i get a message telling something like "cvs login 
aborted ... Connection denied". (Sorry I don't have a transcript at 
hands right now...)

One thing confusing me in the instructions on the cvs page:

The script to change all the CVS/Root files says "anoncvs@..." 
while later on the page I'm told to set $CVSROOT to "cvsanon@..."

Is this correct? Anyway, I tried all of the combinations of the 
two and both usernames as password too, no luck so far.

Can anybody help, please? I hope this description of my problem is 
clear enough.
