SLB dependecy isn't a problem since the SLB itself is in the CVS. Adam (or
anyone) can, if he wants, modify it to be statically linked, but I want to
say that myself, as an original author, would strongly dislike such a
conversion.

Of course this is GPL (IIRC) so from the legal point of view you may do with
the program whatever you want.
