[MiNT] Malloc

Hi

I am fine tuning the AHCM package.
(the memory allocator that allocates whole multiples of chunk size)

I need to know the following:

Does the Gemdos Malloc blocks have a red tape area in the block itself?
And if so, what size is it.

Why?
Suppose 8192 is the the MiNT page size.
I do not want to get 2 pages when I call Malloc(8192)
because of some red tape.

I also ask emutos list for single TOS.
