[MiNT] some questions about mint

I ma running mint 1.15.12 -- I think that is what I have. It is one of
the later 68000 mints.   I thought mint was supposed to control its
memory.  I have this that runs under 68k minix and I compiled it with
MWC.  It runs for 2 or 3 minutes and then it gets 2 bombs.

ok, I know,  but I thought MINT was in control of the memory and any
request to the system had to vector to mint.  Maybe this isn't so and
some of the faults in 1.4 will cause MINT is core out.

Since I must reboot frequently, I wondered if anyone know the date that
TOS 1.4 will roll over?

And Last but not least was that Since I cannot run minix file system and
Mint generally requires it.  I may need to recompile everything 
including breaking long names,  I can't help that I only have a 8.3 file
system and I have to live with it. I know the heart of the problem has
to do with ICD.  But my ICD utilities work on 68000 and edge and
vk_5_4.  SO I'm not convinced that the tools cannot be made to work with
the long word that ICD uses.  instead of two half words,  ICD uses one
long word. I know this because I have ancient email for ATARI MINIX and
they gave some me system patches for ICD.

Still looking for help with the rebuild. and configuring GCC old or new.
 just keep in mind that I have tried AHDI and various kinds.

    2 Quantum 105P disks with 16 partions and a megafile 10 with 2
