In the Easymint installation there is a line in /etc/ttytab that starts
/usr/bin/xaaes, which is in fact a symbolic link to (or should I say
"from" ?) /c/mint/xaaes/xaaes.prg  . 

In the mint.cnf 
	INIT=u:/sbin/init
is used.

I was wondering: What is the advantage of this method compared to
something simple and direct like
	GEM=c:/mint/xaaes/xaaes.prg (or the new xaloader.prg of coarse)
in mint.cnf?
