Re: [MiNT] Loadable libraries urgently needed

Hello!

As you say, we don't reduce memory usage, so in memory it is not worse
than current situation. However, we reduce disk space, and avoid
recompilation when a library change: Do you recompile all the binaries RPM
when the mintlib is updated ? So from my point of view, this would be a
progress over current situation.

This is for sure true and a big advantage. I don't wanted to stop something, just wanted to clarify that memory consumption don't get better. Performance will be increase too I think (as disc loading can be reduced if the lib is already in memory). I'm for sure happy if you or anyone other start to work on it and I will support it as best as I can.

Regards,
Frank
