Humm,
Some changes have been made between 1.16.0 and 1.16.cvs kernels in
keyboard handling. I remember there was an evil keyboard bug in the
1.16.0 beta kernel IIRC. But as for the current CVS kernels, I'll have
to give it a try to see what I find. I remember adjusting something or
other.
I have to tell one thing (I'm testing today's snapshot (10/05)) :
When I set MyAeS as the main AES, so that I'm testing the new kernel
snapshot only (ARAnyM version), the keyboard is working nicely ...
When I set XaAES as the main AES, so that I'm testing both the new
kernel and XaAES kernel module snapshots, the keyboard is not
responding ... The keyboard is mute ...
I have one conclusion. If the keyboard is not working, the problem
is not relying on the freeMiNT kernel itself ... The problem comes
from the XaAES kernel module. If the problem came from freeMiNT
kernel, the keyboard wouldn't work with MyAeS. But it works ...
So there's a major problem with latest version of XaAES kernel
module, that wasn't present in 1.16.0beta release. It causes
a bug with the keyboard management (con).
The freeMiNT CVS may be broken.
None of the recent CVS snapshots are working :-(
I hope it will help ...
