I have not installed 1.16.1, but I have used extendos with the 1.16.x betas
for quite a while.  Had to set the super bit in the header to off and start
extendos from the desktop.   The auto folder method results in some fatal
crash.  Works for me this way without messing with the xfs part.  Even burns
CD's fine.
