Re: [MiNT] Floppy problems with Mint
Quoting Peter Slegg <p.slegg@scubadivers.co.uk>:
Is it safe to assume that no-one has been able format a floppy
while using 1.16.x ?
Also, is there a utility I can use that can monitor mintnet
while trying to send an e-mail ? It would be useful to see
how much data is actually being sent.
I assume the GUI version of ethereal hasn't been ported, but there is a text
version. I assume there is some version of tcpdump that has been ported to
MiNT.
If neither of those options work, then you can always use a proxy. I have a
logging proxy that will work for you thats written in perl, so all you need is
PERL. The optional color output won't work exactly right without changes
unless you have a vt100 compatible color terminal. Not tried it on MiNT, but
it was written for Linux and runs under Windows NT and XP and doesn't require
threads, so I imagine MiNT would work.
Its a few years old, but it should still work, and should show you
exactly what
data is going through it. Use the sample config for telnet and change
the port
number and you should be okay.
