I'm not.  This IS the subject.  A radial gradient would be needed for
round buttons.

This can be done by pre-rendering all the images.  I'm sorry but it
seems you don't have any idea of what I'm talking about.  There is more
to a powerful and capable OS than just pretty widgets.

I'm not at all talking about making a few widgets look pretty with
pre-rendered images.  I'm talking about enhancing the graphics
capabilities to be able to do things that you evidently haven't
imagined, but are already common in other systems.

We just aren't on the same page.
