You need a ton of space.. It's like 10 gigs or something.  I did an
openembedded build for my zaurus but didn't like how buggy it was.  It's
better than gentoo's for sure, but at the same time it would effectively
force us off our current rpm path and onto a .bb (for bitbake builds)
and .deb path.  The zaurus packages are basically debian packages.

If we evolved a flexible cross building system, we could really leverage
that and do crazy stuff like rebuilding all of sparemint daily when
necessary.  Lets see those static libs screw us then!  Yeah, then only
the bandwidth bill would hurt us ;)  (I'm kidding btw)
