Re: [MiNT] Re[2]: GEM boost
I have a SUPERNOVA card for the TT, but as its running 24/7 as a web/mail/ftp
server I have a network card in the VME slot instead.
The TT in standard TT-Med resolution is rapid compared to my Falcon. As an example,
booting MiNT on both machines:
TT - scrolls so fast I cannot read most of the boot info.
Falcon - I can read everything sitting back in my comfy chair sipping coffee and
having a conversation with someone at the same time... :-)

That's because the TT is fully 32 bit (hence the name) :) and the Falcon
isn't. The Falcon's bus (which also handles the video) is an extreme
bottleneck even with a CT60. Also I'm guessing that you either use the TT in
mono resolution, or have a videocard. Both are not really fair
comparisons. ;o)
It would have been nice to see what a TT with CenturboTT would have done..
pity it never made it. :o)
