SpareMiNT fans should also consider Imagemagick. Part of this package is /usr/bin/convert. Convert can also do a LOT of graphic conversion tricks.
Even if you don't have the XServer package installed, this command line tool make it an interesting package to install. In this case use "rpm -ivh --nodeps" to install the Imagemagick rpm package.

ImageMagick is ported to MiNT? Cool! :o) But doesn't convert always complain about not seeing a running X server, even when it doesn't need one?

ImageMagick really rocks.. the luxury of simply typing "convert blah.tif blah.jpg" or even from/to exotic formats, really makes you realize that sometimes a CLI beats a GUI hands down. :o)
