[MiNT] Timezone and mint.cnf
Hi!
Is there an easy way to set up the timezone settings from within
the mint.cnf only so that it would not require the /sbin/tzinit
and the /usr/share/zoneinfo database?
The problem comes with a filesystem which would give you UTC
timestamps (FS_EXT3) and you don't want to use ext2 and all the
other unix stuff (afros-like system).
I would wonder how is the isofs (Anodyne) giving the file timestamps
to the kernel and if anyone uses that in the aforementioned way.
Best Regards
STanda
PS: Perhaps something like setenv TZ1=-240 would be just fine equivalent
of TZ='America/New_York' setting.
